About
About
The Brazoria-Galveston County Farm Bureau has proudly served our communities since 1956. As one of the largest county Farm Bureaus in Texas—with more than 11,000 members—we are dedicated to being a strong voice for agriculture and rural life in our region. Our mission is simple: to stand up for the people who grow our food, care for our land, and keep our local economy strong.
Advocacy
The Brazoria-Galveston County Farm Bureau is a strong local voice advocating for farmers, ranchers, and rural communities. Through grassroots involvement, we work closely with Texas Farm Bureau to influence legislation, protect private property rights, and promote policies that support agriculture and rural life. Our members stay informed and engaged in issues that matter most—because when local voices unite, real change happens at the state and national levels.
Leadership
The Brazoria-Galveston County Farm Bureau is committed to developing strong, community-minded leaders who will shape the future of agriculture. Through leadership programs offered by Texas Farm Bureau, our members—both youth and adults—have opportunities to grow their skills, network with others across the state, and advocate effectively for rural issues. Whether it’s through public speaking, policy development, or hands-on training, we’re helping build confident leaders rooted in service, integrity, and a passion for agriculture.
Youth
The Brazoria-Galveston County Farm Bureau actively invests in youth by supporting programs that encourage leadership, education, and a deeper understanding of agriculture. From sponsoring 4-H and FFA activities to providing scholarships and leadership development opportunities, we help young people gain the skills and experiences they need to succeed. By engaging the next generation, we’re planting the seeds for a strong and vibrant future in both agriculture and our local communities.
